You bow before Cava.
Cava bows before you.
[Cava] says: excuse me sir
Ingarath eyes Cava. "Mmm?"
[Cava] says: is the meeting tonight?
Ingarath nods happily.
[Ingarath] says: That it is.
[Cava] says: am i early?
[Ingarath] says: Yes, you are...as am I.
You greet Tartlet warmly.
Tartlet smiles at you.
[Ingarath] says: Hello there.
[Tartlet] says: you seem to suit blue cava
[Cava] says: do you think?
Tartlet smiles
[Ingarath] says: ((AFK a moment))
[Veras] says: Not many here yet
Arahshiel looks about shyly.
Thargan quirks a thick fiery eyebrow at Veras, grumbling under his breath.
Tartlet lies down.
Ingarath eyes Veras. "Haven't seen you in a while."
Tartlet lies down.
[Veras] says: Hmmm
[Veras] says: Didn't want to stir up trouble
[Thargan] says: Mos' don' wan' ta see 'im, lad.
[Ingarath] says: That occurs where-ever you go, Veras.
[Veras] says: Heh
Ingarath smiles softly.
[Veras] says: Well there has been a 'lull' in activity so to say
[Ingarath] says: Mmm.
[Veras] says: So hopefully most won't just jump me screaming
Tartlet lies down.
[Veras] says: If they do, I will just 'take it outside' so to say
Tartlet lies down.
Veras lets out a hearty chuckle.
[Ingarath] says: I am beyond that point, if it helps at all.
[Thargan] says: Bah! Ifn' yer go'n ta b' 'ere V'ras, com' sit by th' fir'.. I wil no rais' m'ax' ta ya 'ere.

You smile at Thargan.
[Thargan] says: Aliv' is a good thin' lad, a frien' o' min' woul' no kno' tho'.*Glances over at Veras with a slight frown.*
Ingarath raises an eyebrow.
[Veras] says: What? They interupt thigns and I need ribs for Amed
[Veras] says: I am actually hunting them for food once
[Ingarath] says: Amazing.
You grin wickedly at Veras.
Veras shrugs. Who knows?
[Thargan] says: Tha' was no why I was look'n at ya, an' ya kno' it lad.
[Veras] says: Never knew people actually ate boar meat
Veras shrugs at Thargan. Who knows?
[Ingarath] says: Do you have something to share tonight, Veras? Or are you just here to listen?
[Thargan] says: Us dwarv's eat th'm all th' tim', lad, good eat'n... 'sp'cially th'm beer bast'd on's.
[Veras] says: I think I will just listen
[Veras] says: I promised a few people Tarot readings though
Ingarath nods. "I've had those. They are quite good."
Ingarath mumbles, "The ribs, that is."
[Veras] says: Amed keeps a stock of them at The Chalice
[Thargan] says: (I hate the blooody farkin' moving fire... gah. Just let it be a bloody aoe targeter)
[Ingarath] says: Veras, perhaps if you have time, you'll consult the sticks for me.
[Ingarath] says: Or do you not do that any longer?
[Veras] says: Oh I do, I do
[Ingarath] says: It's been quite a while since you last read my fortune.
[Veras] says: Mmmmm, that is has
Ingarath looks around. "I hope more people eventually show up."
[Veras] says: I am sure more are on their way
[Thargan] says: Th' lass Trinn an' Dahla b'com'n lad, don' worry.
Ingarath nods.
[Ingarath] says: We always have such trouble starting on time.
You let out a hearty chuckle.
You greet Neia warmly.
Neia greets you warmly.
[Neia] says: hello. I had heard some stories were being told here...
[Veras] says: Eventually
[Ingarath] says: I hope so.
Ingarath smiles.
[Thargan] says: Soon 'nough wee on'.. sit an' wait.
Veras waves at Rook.
[Neia] says: Thank you! I haven't heard much of the goings-on here, so it should be fun to hear what it's all about.
You smile at Trinn.
Trinn waves at you.
Veras waves at Dahla.
[Ingarath] says: Hello again, Trinn. And Dahla.
Veras waves at Trinn.
[Veras] says: Hello hello
[Trinn] says: Evening, everyone.
[Thargan] says: Jus' a bunch o' us gitt'n t'geth'r ta fer th' night, no fight'n...*grumbles under his breath.* so r'memb'r tha', lass.
[Thargan] says: 'Owdy lass's.
Thargan waves at Trinn.
Dahla smiles and gives Ingarath a wave, and -- looking just a touch surprised -- waves back at Veras with a broad smile.
Thargan waves at Dahla.
[Dahla] says: Hm, beat us here, Thargan?
Rook impassionately snipes at the rabbit.
[Thargan] says: I no want'd ta 'urt th' lass, I was git'n ups't.
[Rook] says: Hai lad.
[Trinn] says: Aye, Thargan. She was...something.
Veras leans back and looks to Rook
Rook kneels down.
[Veras] says: Hello Rook
Rook 's curiosity bears through.
[Thargan] says: I s'ppos' so, sh' wil learn in tim' or no'.
[Rook] says: Ah heard aboot...ye know, Kelith...
[Veras] says: Hmmph
[Veras] says: Yeah, thats a mess and a half
[Rook] says: Havyn were braw unhappy.
Rook nods sadly.
[Rook] says: Aye.
[Veras] says: Should help things settle down though
[Rook] says: Whit? This?
Dahla gives the T's a quiet grin, before tossing Trinn another look, and steps away quietly.
Veras fiddles with some dried leaves and tosses them into the fire
[Thargan] says: Ay' on' bloody madman gon' coul' b' nic'...
Trinn watches her go, brow furrowed.
[Trinn] says: Scuse me.
[Veras] says: Aye, with what happened to Kelith
Rook nods emotionlessly to Dahla.
[Rook] says: Ah guess so.
Trinn stops, watching Dahla, then nods quietly and sits back down where she was.
Rook whispers something to Veras.
Dahla gives Rook a faint smile, settling comfortably.
Veras looks over to Dahla and nods happily
[Veras] says: How have things been going?
[Thargan] says: Bloody 'ell, elv's always got ta wh'sp'r, b'stards got no r'spect fer thos' 'round th'm.
[Veras] says: I have been a bit.... busy
Ingarath smiles at Thargan.
Rook leans back, slipping her feet out from under her.

[Dahla] says: Small turnout tonight, Ingarath? I worry everyone's all over these... what are they calling it? Space... skirmishes...
Rook laughs.
Ingarath raises an eyebrow. "What?"
[Thargan] says: Or th'y got ta talk in thar bloody birdsheech, ch'rp'n away.
[Veras] says: Haha
[Rook] says: Ye mean the wars gang on 'twixt the gryphons an' the wyverns?
[Rook] says: Ye look tae the night sky, aw ye see is stars an' flittin' shapes.
[Rook] says: Like the heavers were i' a fray, aye.
[Ingarath] says: Well, if no one else shows up, I'm sure we can keep ourselves occupied.
Dahla glances over at Veras with a faint smile. "I've no doubt you have been... you're a hard man to track down sometimes."
[Veras] says: Mmmm, hopefully
You greet Meris warmly.
Veras looks to Dahla and shrugs a bit
Meris nods to everyone
[Veras] says: Long ass week
Thargan has invited you to join a group.
Veras leans back and looks up to Meris
[Veras] says: Ah! Meris, Hello, hello
[Dahla] says: Been taking vocabulary lessons from Alerac, too?
Trinn nods back to Meris.
Dahla looks over at Meris with a smile.
[Meris] says: Hmmm? Oh, hello again, Veras.. and everyone.
Veras swings his head back to Dahla chuckling
[Veras] says: Some events warrent cursing
[Meris] says: Indeed they do.
Meris looks over to Ingarath
Dahla shrugs with a quiet smile. "Mother always said cursing was the sign of a limited vocabulary. Of course, I just increased my vocabulary..."
Ingarath eyes Meris.
[Meris] says: Hey again Ing... how have your travels in goblin territories been?
[Ingarath] says: Well enough, I suppose.
Veras shrugs at Dahla. Who knows?
[Veras] says: Words are words
[Ingarath] says: Deep, Veras. Like a well.
Jaema curtsies.
You grin wickedly at Veras.
[Veras] says: The simplest thigns are most often the msot complex
[Veras] says: Eh?
[Veras] says: ((Like spelling))
[Ingarath] says: ((Haha.))
[Meris] says: We should get Felena over here again.. she managed to actually make Veras speechless last night....
Trinn raises an eyebrow.
[Veras] says: Hmmmph, BLATANT denial of facts does that
[Ingarath] says: I suppose Alerac is coming, we should no doubt wait for him.
[Meris] says: Seems they have a slightly different view of history.
Dahla shakes her head with a grin. "Dare I ask?"
[Jaema] says: good eve friends .. have I stumbled on the storytelling ?
[Veras] says: She was practically saying The Titans didn't exist!
[Trinn] says: Oh. That *really* doesn't surprise me, Meris.
Ingarath nods at Jaema.
Trinn smiles at Jaema and nods.
[Veras] says: And that the Dragon Aspects were a THEORY
[Meris] says: Sort of... more like, if there was no proof... they weren't important.
[Veras] says: The Timeless is NOT A THEORY!
[Dahla] says: The Hope and Flowers history.
Amberlyssa bows before Rook.
[Veras] says: The Three Virtues, are not simply a part of the Church of Light, they ARE the church of light!
[Veras] says: No matter what I-----pheh.... just getting riled up again
Rook nods to Amberlyssa.
[Dahla] says: Get her to tell you about fallen paladins... now that will make your head hurt.
[Rook] says: Ah'll give ye this, ye're a fast runner.
Rook chuckles.
Trinn gives Dahla a horrified look. "Don't you dare."
[Amberlyssa] says: Umm.. Thanks, I think.
[Meris] says: But it amuses me, Veras. Usually you're more in control of the conversation.
Rook looks around for Niane before taking aim at the rabbit.
[Rook] says: Och, ye're weelcome lassie.
Meris smirks slyly at Veras.
[Veras] says: I tried to explain to her the roots of the Church of Light in the Cult of the Sun but she wouldn't hear it
Veras shrugs. Who knows?
[Neia] says: ... I didn't even know a paladin *could* fall, and still be anything but a normal person...
Veras looks to Neia
[Meris] says: Depends on how far they fall, I would think.
[Rook] says: Fall?
[Meris] says: Some of them... go rather off the deep end.
[Veras] says: Well... there is Arthas
Rook looks around.
[Ingarath] says: And if they hit their head on the way down.
[Veras] says: I guess.... he counts as falling
Ingarath smiles softly.
[Rook] says: Are ye aw speakin' o' Deathknights?
Trinn studiously keeps out of the conversation, though she wrinkles her nose at Ing's comment.
Dahla grins at Ingarath.
[Meris] says: Arthas and fallen paladins, Rook.
[Veras] says: So yeah, Deathknights
[Rook] says: Ye mean the ones as gave oop on pretendin'.
Rook fiddles with her rings.
Veras nearly bursts out laughing but stiffles it at rooks comment
Trinn looks at her quietly.
[Veras] says: Ermmm.... sorry
[Thargan] says: E'eryon' falls, it b' a matt'r 'bout wh'th'r th'y git th'mselv's back up tha' counts.
Veras coughs
Dahla struggles to keep a straight face.
Meris gives Rook a rather odd but bemused look
[Amberlyssa] says: May I share your fire, or is this a private party?
Trinn hugs her knees to her chest, not looking at any of them.
[Rook] says: Och, c'mon dane, lass!
[Veras] says: I mean, the Virtues are all well and good
[Thargan] says: Sit yer bloody ars' down lass.
Ingarath looks up. "All are welcome here."
[Veras] says: But their roots ARE froma hedious cult of high born
Amberlyssa thanks everyone.
You wave at Alerac.
Rook jostles Trinn amiably.
[Veras] says: The whole religion, though it may *spread* good, is inheritly a lie
Meris glances over at Alerac and half-waves
Alerac waves at you.
[Thargan] says: Git yer bloody ars' up elf, ya no b'sitt'n by m' or th' lass.
[Veras] says: Lothar knew that
Rook laughs at Thargan.
Trinn nods at Rook politely.
[Thargan] says: Lass, I b'ask'n nic'ly git yer ars' up.
[Trinn] says: Thargan...she was talking to me.
[Rook] says: Master dwarfer, ye dinna e'en have tae ask.
[Rook] says: The smell alone's gang tae knock me i'tae the lake.
Meris stares down Thargan. "Thargan, ever rude as always... "
Rook pats Thargan somewhat dramatically on the head.
[Ingarath] says: Well...it appears that we have a very small crowd tonight.
[Alerac] says: ...bloody hell, who's makin the fires tonight?
Thargan grumbles through his mustache.
[Meris] says: So it does, Ing... at least compared to last week.
[Alerac] says: Right! Thanks Thargan, man. I'm sick of it.
[Dahla] says: You missed the gnome, Thargan.
[Thargan] says: Noth'n ta it lad... er, no I didno lass.
[Ingarath] says: Perhaps we should begin, then.
Trinn looks back to Alerac. 'You could scooch up a bit.'
[Thargan] says: I was go'n ta try an' git it on' th' elf...
Alerac glances over at Trinn. "Or I could stay right by the comfy tree."
Ingarath clears his throat, looking around at the assembled faces.
Trinn shrugs.
Ingarath eyes Trinn. "Leave him be, I think he enjoys being difficult."
[Alerac] says: Aint difficult.
[Alerac] says: I've just always had the tree.
[Trinn] says: Enjoy your tree. I wouldn't keep you from your tree.
Ingarath shrugs. "Revisionist histories don't interest me."
[Thargan] says: H' b'try'n ta b' a dwarf.. tha' b' all, giv' 'im som' tim' ta pract'c'.
[Alerac] says: It's quite a nice tree.
You grin wickedly at Alerac.
Veras shrugs at you. Who knows?
Rook stifles a self-judged witty comment.
[Veras] says: It's not Revisionist
[Meris] says: You're still not up in your usual spot, Al...
Dahla grins at Thargan. "With you to teach him..."
[Veras] says: Research it one day
Ingarath eyes Veras. "I was talking about Alerac's claim on the tree, Veras."
[Alerac] says: Eh. I'll get up there when the mood strikes m.e
Ingarath shakes his head.
[Veras] says: Ph
[Alerac] says: oh. Alrighty.
[Veras] says: *Oh
Veras looks sad
[Thargan] says: I kno' lass, h' wil mak' a fin' dwarf, jus' got ta hit 'is 'ead a few mor' tim's, tha's all.
[Alerac] says: I do hereby claim this tree!~
[Ingarath] says: History is not a subject I know much about, to be truthful.
Dahla grins at Veras' crestfallen look. "Philosophy is after, remember?"
Veras grumbles a bit
Alianurai quietly takes a seat on the ground
[Ingarath] says: Well, welcome everyone.
[Ingarath] says: Welcome again to the night where we gather around fires and trade verse and stories, sheltering ourselves from the wider darkness.
[Ingarath] says: For those of you who do not know, I am Ingarath Melforgan. My job is to corral cats.
[Ingarath] says: I mean...host.
Trinn snickers.
[Veras] says: Meow
Dahla smirks slyly at you.
Arahshiel smiles.
Veras chuckles
Ingarath looks around the gathered faces, smiling.
[Meris] says: Hmmmm.... interesting choice of words, INg.
Ingarath nods at Meris.
[Ingarath] says: I feel it's appropriate.
[Meris] says: Why is that one woman sleeping, anyway?
Meris points to Tartlet
Veras leans over to his right
[Cava] says: her head hurts
[Cava] says: and she's awake
Meris glances back at Veras, a little crestfallen.
Trinn looks over at the woman with concern. "Does she need anything?"
[Tartlet] says: for once I cant cute this headache, so lying here resting
[Rook] says: (( I'll be back. Time to get dinner. ))
Meris whispers something back to Veras
Veras grumbles
[Alerac] says: ingarath, man, why don't you start things off proper now?
Ingarath nods. "I was waiting to see if she needed help."
[Alerac] says: Well then, here's what you do.
Meris gives Veas a meek look and hands him something from the folds of her dress
Alerac glances at Tartlet.
[Alerac] says: Oy! Do you need help?
Veras nods and takes is resettling in his seat
Ingarath rolls his eyes at Alerac.
[Ingarath] says: Does anyone have something to share with us?
Tartlet sighs knowing she wont get any rest here
Alerac shrugs. Who knows?
Ingarath mumbles to Meris, "This is the part that reminds me of cats."
Veras fiddles with a twine rope around his neck then leans back
Meris watches Veras carefully
Ingarath smiles softly. "A group of listeners, tonight, I suppose."
[Veras] says: Guess so
Trinn smiles, looking at the fire.
Meris smiles softly at Ingarath. "Long ass week...."
[Alerac] says: I'd have a story if I was good at writin.
[Neia] says: I would much like to see how it goes before telling stories myself...
[Dahla] says: Hmph. Well, I always have one... or two...
[Alerac] says: We could always start an argument.
[Ingarath] says: Well, let's hear it then, Dahla.
You smile.
Trinn looks up from the fire to grin at Dahla.
Dahla tucks a lock of hair back behind one ear and nods, standing.
Alerac resists the impulse to jump up and make a fire.
Phaelyn mumbles about being late and sits quietly.
[Alerac] says: Bloody Thargan...
Alianurai looks warily at the warlock
[Dahla] says: Well then. That Priest friend of mine, in his travels, saw and did so many things. He spent a great deal of time wandering the land, spreading the word of the Light and aiding those he could.
[Dahla] says: Now, in the time after the First War, he came across a town up north that had been through all manner of trials.
[Tartlet] says: excuse us we've just got to help one of our junior members out
[Dahla] says: Bandits, floods, droughts, orcs... it seemed the town was fated to get little rest, and the Mayor of the town felt he was going mad from the strain.
[Dahla] says: Finally, he sent out a call to the wisest men, the soothsayers, the mages, men of the cloth -- and sought to have them craft him a ring. A magic ring, that would ease his difficulties, see him through.
[Dahla] says: They tried and tried, but none could craft him such an item. Rings for divining the future to help him prepare for it, failed utterly. Rings meant to soothe his nerves merely put him to sleep.
[Dahla] says: He was at his wits' end when finally, my friend arrived at the town. He simply slipped off a ring from his own hand, handed it to the Mayor, and went on his way. And from that day forth, no matter what the difficulties they endured, the Mayor...
[Rook] says: (( Back. ))
[Dahla] says: ... stood strong, and led his townsfolk through to the brighter days waiting.
[Dahla] says: The ring, of course, bore no magic. Simply an inscription.
[Dahla] says: "This, too, shall pass."
Dahla smiles and gives a tiny bow.
Meris smiles at Dahla.
Amberlyssa claps excitedly for Dahla.
Ingarath smiles.
Trinn grins, clapping.
Arahshiel claps excitedly.
Neia claps excitedly.
[Veras] says: Hmmm, as grim as it is happy
[Ingarath] says: Thank you, Dahla.
[Neia] says: A good saying, though.
Alianurai applauds at Dahla. Bravo!
[Trinn] says: Mm. I liked it.
[Amberlyssa] says: Do you really think it's grim, Veras?
[Veras] says: Think about it
[Veras] says: It is not nessicarily a good thing
[Meris] says: You can discern deeper layers to almost *everything*....
Dahla grins quietly. "Sometimes stories aren't so much about what is said, but what is heard."
[Trinn] says: Actually, he sort of has a poin....
Trinn trails off at Dahla's, comment, laughing.
[Trinn] says: Aye.
Ingarath smiles.
Amberlyssa smiles
[Meris] says: Who all here is new tonite... even though it's normally a bit more crowded, I have to mention.
Trinn smiles at Strand.
Ingarath looks around. "I do see a few new faces."
[Dahla] says: Definitely the Celestial Skirmish in Darnassus, that's taking people away tonight.
Strand glances over, and smiles, surprised.
[Alerac] says: ...eh?
Arahshiel looks down, shyly.
Alianurai raises her hand a tiny bit
[Strand] says: I'm new.
[Amberlyssa] says: I'm new.
[Veras] says: I'm old
[Phaelyn] says: New? I guess that'd be me too.
Trinn snorts.
[Neia] says: well, tales can spread of a place of stories....
[Arahshiel] says: I am new to this place.
Veras leans back
Amberlyssa laughs.
Dahla smirks at Veras.
[Ingarath] says: We're glad to have you.
[Meris] says: You're not that damn old, veras...
[Veras] says: Older than all you young'ns
[Veras] says: Well
Veras looks to ROok
[Veras] says: Some of you
You chuckle at Veras.
Trinn grumbles something back to Alerac about it being cold...and dark...
[Meris] says: Maybe not some of the elves...?
Phaelyn smirks faintly.
Alerac starts swearing, the words "Fire" and "Too damn short" coming up semi often.
[Arahshiel] says: The appearance of youth can sometimes mask an aged heart.
Amberlyssa nods.
[Ingarath] says: Veras was born with grey hair, I think.
[Alerac] says: He stole my hairstyle.
Veras grins at that comment
Dahla gives Ingarath a fisheyed look. "Maybe he was."
[Veras] says: Ahh Ingarath, if only you knew the half of it
[Meris] says: Oh no, trust me, he was once a boy...
Veras remvoes a flask from his robes and sips at it
Arahshiel looks at the lake, the sight of the body of water seeming to cause her pain.
[Jaema] says: this is my first visit .. my companion and I love a good tale; he is delayed this eve
Ingarath looks around.
[Ingarath] says: Who would like to go next?
Arahshiel seems lost in thought.
Ingarath laughs softly. "This is always the fun part."
Meris looks around to the people by the fire, a bit exhausted still from recent worries.
Dahla grins over at Ingarath. "Should you get out your prod?"
[Arahshiel] says: I have something, but it is not written by my own hand.
Trinn smiles at Arahsiel in relief.
[Arahshiel] says: I'm afraid my own words have been stifled within me for some time now.
Veras shrugs at Arahshiel. Who knows?
[Veras] says: Better than silence
Arahshiel timidly stands.
[Ingarath] says: Well, we would love to hear it, regardless.
[Arahshiel] says: It is a poem that was once shown to me by the one whom I once loved.
Meris looks up to Arashiel, nodding
[Arahshiel] says: It is called "Upon a Black Twist Rounding the Arm of the Countess of Carlile"
[Arahshiel] says: I saw about her spotless wrist,
Arahshiel blushes.
Dahla looks up at Arahshiel, listening in silence.
Trinn leans back on her elbows, looking up at the sky as she listes.
[Arahshiel] says: Of blackest silk a curious twist;
[Arahshiel] says: Which, circumvolving gently, there
[Arahshiel] says: Enthrall'd her arm as prisoner.
[Arahshiel] says: Dark was the jail, but as if light
[Arahshiel] says: Had met t'engender with the night;
[Arahshiel] says: Or so as darkness made a stay
[Arahshiel] says: To show at once both night and day.
[Arahshiel] says: I fancy more! but if there be
[Arahshiel] says: Such freedom in captivity;
[Arahshiel] says: I beg of Love, that ever I
[Arahshiel] says: May in like chains of darkness lie.
Arahshiel bows shyly.
Alianurai sighs at Arahshiel.
You clap excitedly for Arahshiel.
Dahla applauds at Arahshiel. Bravo!
Meris listens to the words intently
Arrish smiles at Arahshiel.
Strand claps softly.
Trinn smiles and applauds.
Amberlyssa claps excitedly for Mharty.
[Meris] says: Ah, very nice...
Jaema claps excitedly.
Shaun claps excitedly.
[Ingarath] says: Thank you, that was wonderful.
[Alianurai] says: T'waas most lovely!
Arahshiel thanks everyone.
Ingarath looks around once more.
Arrish puts an arm around Strand, squeezing him. "Better late than never, brother mine? I brought Shaun and Meriane."
Trinn glances up at Arrish's voice, waving over to her and Shaun.
Veras nods
[Ingarath] says: Who will next be courageous enough to rise and speak?
Arrish smiles to Trinn.
Shaun waves at Trinn.
Strand grins companionably. "I noticed. Hallo, you two."
[Alerac] says: it's not a matter of courage, man.
[Alerac] says: It's a matter of having something to rise an speak about.
Meriane lifts her hand in a slight wave.
Ingarath eyes Alerac. "One might argue that it is, in fact, rather similar."
Ingarath nods at Meriane.
[Alerac] says: Bah. I could sing, if you want...
Meris glances back at Rook
Alerac grins at you wickedly.
Arrish gives Alerac an inquisitive look.
Arrish murmurs to Strand.
Ingarath looks to Meriane. "Did you have something to share?"
[Meris] says: Meriane, was it? I know I've met you somewhere before... a lont time ago..
Meriane glances over at Alerac, a slow smile coming to her face.
[Meriane] says: I...?
Meriane looks to Ingarath in surprise.
[Meriane] says: Oh heavens no!
Ingarath raises an eyebrow. "Hmm."
Arrish smiles. "Don't put her on the spot; she didn't even know about this until a little bit ago."
[Meriane] says: I'm still not sure why I'm here.
Meriane gives a little laugh.
[Alerac] says: Cause we have Punch and Pie?
Ingarath mumbles, "I must have mistaken her hand waving."
[Shaun] says: Yah walked.
Shaun smirks slyly at Meriane.
Meriane looks like she wants to disappear.
Alerac grumbles about the fire.
[Meris] says: Some of us have been coming for a long time, and we *still* rarely have anything to say... asides from philosophizing and dodging questions.
Meriane eyes Alerac up and down.
[Ingarath] says: I never dodge questions, Meris.
[Alerac] says: tells you...never stays long...
You smile at Meris.
Arrish touches Meriane's arm and smiles at her.
[Veras] says: Hmmm, I am really just here to read fortunes
Veras laughs.
[Alerac] says: Once. JUST ONCE!
[Strand] says: There are worse pursuits than philosophizing.
[Meris] says: Fortunes, or faces, Veras?
[Alerac] says: Stay for more than FIVE MINUTES!
Veras shrugs at Meris. Who knows?
[Arrish] says: You have to use better wood.
Alerac glares at the fire, still yelling to himself.
Meriane looks at Veras, her eyes dark and contemplative.
[Ingarath] says: Ah, well, it seems we have a very quiet crowd tonight.
[Meriane] says: Ah, the ever irascible Alerac...
[Strand] says: I know a story about a mouse.
[Alerac] says: My freakin fire never...ah, yeah. Tell that.
Trinn looks relieved, again.
[Trinn] says: Mice are good.
Strand grins, as he stands.
Ingarath eyes Strand.
Meris gives a somewhat worried look to Alerac
Meriane gives Strand a "you're kidding" look.
Arrish gives Alerac a curious look. "Didn't I meet you the other night? You might not rememb--" She gives Strand a fond smile.
[Strand] says: Now... I learned this story from my father. He tells it well.
Meriane listens intently to Strand.
Alerac grins at Arrish. "Yeah, I remember. coupla nights ago."
Shaun grins at Strand.
[Thargan] says: Mos' Da's do, lad...
[Strand] says: So I will ask you, if you please, to imagine that I am a grizzled old man with a grey beard and a voice drenched in gravel. It'll go better, that way.
[Alerac] says: So...when does the imagining start?
Arahshiel smiles at Strand.
Ingarath resists the urge to heave a rock at Alerac.
Arrish settles back to listen, nodding a little.
Strand hunches his shoulders a little, and grins. "This is a story about Mellor, the trickiest field mouse in Stormwind. There are a lot of them. I'm going to tell this one tonight."
Arrish claps excitedly for Strand.
[Arrish] says: Mellor stories!
[Strand] says: Everyone knows Mellor. He's sneaky, he's sly, he's always thinking about how to get ahead. Which is hard, because he's small, but he doesn't think small.
Meriane looks baffled.
[Strand] says: On this particular day, Mellor was wandering through the Trade District, and he was ferociously hungry.
[Strand] says: Of a sudden, he smelled something. Which was cheese. It's all he ever bothered to smell; other smells bored him.
Trinn turns her head to smile at Felena.
You greet Felena warmly.
Shaun waves at Felena.
Strand motions, deft. "Scurry scurry, field mouse, right up to Stormwind Gate. Following the smell."
Felena smiles, and waves to those greeting her.
Meriane is still giving Strand a look of utter disbelief.
Meris nods curtly at Felena
[Strand] says: And there was the source: the great General, Marcus Jonathan, who was sitting watch where he always does. This day he was eating cheese.
Veras waves at Felena.
[Strand] says: General Johnathan is a little tall for a field mouse to get at his cheese.
Shaun smiles at Felena.
Arrish covers a giggle.
[Strand] says: So, but Mellor is the sneakiest field mouse. He thought about it a while, and came up with a plan.
Strand crouches down, low, not looking much like a field mouse. But trying hard.
Meriane covers her face in abject embarrassment, giggling.
[Strand] says: He braced himself and /threw/ himself at the General's horse!
Ingarath grins.
Trinn grins at Strand's imitation.
Arahshiel smiles, amused.
[Strand] says: Surely the full weight of his impact would shake loose some cheese!
Elaran chuckles quietly.
Strand looks out at the audience. "Did it?"
Jaema smiles
[Meriane] says: Of course not.
Arrish giggles at Strand.
Strand grins bright to Meriane. "Not in the least. But Mellor, he's a clever mouse."
[Strand] says: So he went off and came up with another plan. He found his -- well, not friend. But he found a bear he knew.
[Thargan] says: No ifn' h' did think thro'n' 'imself at th' Gen'ral..bloody mous'.
Arahshiel grins wickedly at Thargan.
[Strand] says: And he said, "Hello, friend bear. I have a job for you. I have saved up a whole half a copper piece, and it is yours if you do this thing for me."
[Strand] says: The bear was very big. Mellor is very small.
Rook grumbles something about archery.
[Strand] says: But the bear said "What job?" And Mellor said "I will give you this half a copper piece if you go get me some cheese from General Marcus Jonathan. Plus you can keep half the cheese."
[Strand] says: The bear thought about it a bit, and nodded, slow and ponderous.
Strand nods, slow and ponderous.
Meriane chortles.
Shaun grins.
[Strand] says: "I'll do that," said the bear. Then the bear grinned. "Give me the copper, and... I'll be right back."
[Strand] says: Mellor gave the bear the half copper, which is a gargantuan thing for a field mouse. And the bear went off. And Mellor waited.
Strand looks out at everyone, and grins. "Did the bear come back?"
[Meriane] says: I'm assuming not.
[Arrish] says: Of course not!
Dahla shakes her head. "No!"
[Alianurai] says: Not likely!
[Veras] says: Sure why not
Rook waves at Alerac.
Alerac grumbles about the fire again.
[Strand] says: Not in the lease. But Mellor, as well as being clever, is stubborn. So he came up with another plan.
Ingarath whispers quietly, "Rook, Destroyer of Goretusks."
Veras grumbles "There goes my reputation as Seer"
[Rook] says: Ah think ye summoned that one wi' yer wit, Ingarath.
Strand gestures. "He went to the Mage Tower, where he found Warien, Master of Pyromancy."
Ingarath laughs softly.
Rook smiles.
Arrish flashes a smile at Veras.
Meriane perks up.
[Strand] says: And he haggled with Warien for many days and many nights. Or at least half an hour.
Alianurai chuckles at Strand.
Elaran giggles at Strand.
[Strand] says: And in the end he purchased a spell of transmutation, which would -- hoped Mellor -- change the General's horse into a sheep.
You grin wickedly at Strand.
Elaran snickers quietly.
Rook hands Alerac a slab of flesh.
Meris grins wickedly at Rook.
[Strand] says: With the General thus discommoded, Mellor hoped to steal the cheese. Clever field mouse.
Meris leans over and whispers to Rook
[Strand] says: Alas... Mellor does not speak the human tongue. So, well. He was not haggling for exactly what he thought he was haggling for.
[Strand] says: Scurry, little field mouse, scurry! He ran back down to the gate, tail twitching, and quickly read the spell.
Strand pauses, for the third and last time, and grins across the crowd. "Did the General's steed become a sheep?"
Ingarath chuckles.
[Trinn] says: Doubt it.
Trinn grins.
Arrish giggles at Strand.
[Shaun] says: I'm gong tah try no.
[Arrish] says: Of course not!
[Elaran] says: Yes, it did!
[Strand] says: Not in the least! Mellor, much to his surprise, became a human.
Meriane blinks at Strand.
Trinn starts laughing.
[Alianurai] says: Most likely not...*grins*
[Veras] says: Ummmmm
Elaran chuckles at Strand.
[Veras] says: Errrrr
[Strand] says: And fell over. It's hard, to stand on two legs when you're used to four.
Meriane can't repress a chuckle.
Alianurai laughs at Strand.
[Strand] says: Now, Mellor is a clever mouse and a stubborn mouse, but he's also a /smart/ mouse.
Dahla giggles softly, listening raptly.
Elaran smiles at Strand.
[Strand] says: So an hour later, after the spell had worn off, he crawled home with a rueful look on his face.
[Strand] says: His wife was there, tapping her cooking stick against her side.
Rook looks at Meris.
[Strand] says: "Mellor!" she said. "You stupid mouse!"
Meris nods to Rook
[Strand] says: I've had dinner ready for you for /two hours/!
Meriane laughs at Strand.
Shaun laughs at Strand.
[Strand] says: And that is the story of how Mellor got fed after all. There are many stories of Mellor, the sly field mouse, but that is the one I told tonight.
Meriane applauds at Strand. Bravo!
You clap excitedly for Strand.
Dahla laughs at Strand.
Arahshiel applauds at Strand. Bravo!
Trinn claps excitedly for Strand.
Alianurai claps excitedly for Strand.
Alerac grins wickedly at Strand.
Meris smirks slyly at Strand.
Shaun claps excitedly for Strand.
Jaema claps excitedly for Strand.
Elaran applauds at Strand. Bravo!
Strand takes a grinning bow, and resettles in his place.
Amberlyssa claps excitedly.
Arrish gives Strand a fond smile.
[Neia] says: that's a strange little mouse
[Arrish] says: Almost as good as Father!
Rook nods approvingly.
[Ingarath] says: Thank you...that was quite a good story.
[Meriane] says: stubborn and clever. I know mice like that...
A sly smirk spreads across Meriane's face.
[Ingarath] says: I'll now abuse my office and shubject you to my most recent verse.
Strand says grinning, "Thank you all."
Felena chuckles at you.
Ingarath coughs. "Stupid grog..."
[Elaran] says: Is it drunken verse?
Veras shrugs at you. Who knows?
Arrish leans back against Strand, smiling. "Thank you." She shifts her attention to Ingarath.
[Veras] says: Fair enuogh
[Meris] says: That's usually the best kind.
Elaran cheers at Meris!
Ingarath rummages through hish pack, finding a leather-bound book, opening it and flipping through pages.
Alerac considers it, and thinks Ingarath has a good idea and pulls out some flasks of port.
[Ingarath] says: In my travels, I have seen many wondrous things.
[Ingarath] says: This is a short verse about one of those.
Strand props his elbows on his knees and listens intently to Ingarath.
Trinn looks back longingly at the mug of port in Alerac's hands.
[Ingarath] says: Deep cerulean sea slowly parts
Meriane lets out a long, drawn-out sigh.
[Ingarath] says: admitting sun-blessed, arched body
[Ingarath] says: as priestess rises to full height,
[Ingarath] says: resplendent in Nature's glory.
Meriane blushes.
Trinn smiles at Alerac in thanks.
[Ingarath] says: Hidden ardor glows suddenly and fiercely,
Arrish pretends that she's going to cover Strand's ears.
[Ingarath] says: with memories of long ago pleasures,
Meriane turns deep crimson.
[Ingarath] says: A flush coming to soft skin,
[Ingarath] says: A smile creasing a perfect face.
[Ingarath] says: She reaches her hands to the sky,
Meriane breaks into a sudden fit of coughing, which she tries unsuccessfully to quell, nearly swallowing her own tongue in the process.
[Ingarath] says: fingers grasphing as if to touch unseen infinite,
[Ingarath] says: murmuring in a melodious voice,
[Ingarath] says: ancient language I shall never comprehend.
[Ingarath] says: Her body glows and sparkles with light
Trinn sits quietly, listening and sipping her drink.
[Ingarath] says: as water flows slowly down gentle arch,
[Ingarath] says: seeking union with dark pool below,
[Ingarath] says: the water counting itself blessed.
[Ingarath] says: She turns to me slowly, her face radiant,
[Ingarath] says: lowering her hands to extend towards me,
[Ingarath] says: fingers still grasping with the infinite,
[Ingarath] says: My eyes locked, frozen into hers forever.
Elaran listens intently to you.
[Ingarath] says: ((*grumbles about stupid mice*))
Meriane just gapes.
Elaran looks mildly confused.
[Ingarath] says: ((Sorry.))
[Ingarath] says: A genuine smile flows upon me
[Ingarath] says: As if it were a wave breaking.
[Ingarath] says: Breathlessly I consider her words through a fog;
[Ingarath] says: "Are you ready, initiate?"
Ingarath closes his book, smiling.
Trinn smiles, nodding.
Strand contemplates, dreamy-eyed, and claps.
[Ingarath] says: Thank you, as always, for listening.
Elaran sighs at you.
Alianurai sighs at you.
Arahshiel sighs at you.
Jaema smiles at Amberlyssa.
[Veras] says: Hmmmph
Kyltania stands there strongly, straightened with pride she walks.
[Alianurai] says: T'was most lovely, thankye for sharing.
[Veras] says: Not my type of peom, but pretty
Jaema claps excitedly for you.
Arahshiel claps excitedly for you.
Arrish sighs at you.
Dahla just grins and applauds.
Amberlyssa claps excitedly.
Elaran stares at Ingarath and claps absentmindedly.
[Neia] says: ... that poem has some layers I think I'm happier not thinking about...
Meris smiles at you.
Ingarath chuckles softly at Veras.
Veras looks to Kyltania and nods to her
Ingarath looks around.
[Meriane] says: i... sort of wrote a poem once...
[Meriane] says: it's really short.
Kyltania just sits in between Veras and Meris quietly, the hints of a painted smile upon her face.
Meris looks over to Kyltania, trying to discern her present mood
Ingarath eyes Meriane.
Arrish smiles to Ingarath and says, "That was lovely."
Trinn sits, still thinking over the last work.
[Meriane] says: i wrote it a while ago. and I"m a farmer's daughter.
[Meriane] says: And it's short.
Ingarath smiles at Arrish.
[Strand] says: Tell it, Shan'do?
Arrish looks back over her shoulder to Meriane, settling into silence.
[Thargan] says: Jus' git up an read it already lass.
[Amberlyssa] says: I'd love to hear it.
[Meriane] says: But um...
[Meriane] says: okay...
Ingarath nods. "We would be honored."
Meriane stares at her hands.
[Meriane] says: For two months...
[Meriane] says: I have shadowed you...
Thargan grumbles through his mustache as he reaches up with a mailed hand to stroke his beard slowly.
[Meriane] says: Impatient ships have sailed...
[Meriane] says: For two months...
[Meriane] says: I have set my snares...
[Meriane] says: For two months, I have failed...
[Meriane] says: Dragon...
[Meriane] says: in your leather hide...
[Meriane] says: If I could see through all the smoke...
[Meriane] says: Would I find fire inside?
Arrish watches Meriane intently.
[Meriane] says: Um...
[Meriane] says: that was it.
Meriane blushes.
Mosher applauds. Bravo!
Alianurai claps excitedly for Meriane.
Jaema claps excitedly for Meriane.
Amberlyssa claps excitedly.
Alerac applauds at Meriane. Bravo!
Shaun claps excitedly for Meriane.
You clap excitedly for Meriane.
Neia claps excitedly.
Trinn smiles at Meriane, clapping.
Arrish applauds at Meriane. Bravo!
Strand claps pleasedly.
Thargan nods at Meriane.
[Ingarath] says: Thank you.
Kyltania stares directly over at Alerac, her eyes locked directly on him. The flames of the fire surround her gaze as she listens. She claps politely.
Felena claps excitedly for Meriane.
Strand murmurs over to Meriane.
[Amberlyssa] says: I think that may be my new guild charter.
Meris whispers to Kyltania
Kyltania moves her gaze around to each person present, slowly analyzing them.
Ingarath looks around.
Arrish says softly to Meriane, "Beautiful."
[Ingarath] says: Who will rise next in defense of culture?
Alianurai meets Kyltania's gaze with disdain
Ingarath smiles softly.
[Alerac] says: Can I rise in opposition of culture?
Meriane says softly, shut up.
Arrish then looks over at Kyltania as she is studied, arching an eyebrow.
[Ingarath] says: Only if you're clever.
Kyltania smiles gently and leans in to whisper back to Meris.
[Alerac] says: Define clever.
[Veras] says: Hmmph, he does so every morning he gets up anyway
Felena rises for a moment, thinks about it, then eventually sits back down.
Ingarath sighs as he is drawn into a familiar method.
Elaran raises an eyebrow at Kyltania and smiles, flames dancing in her eyes.
Trinn raises her hand very, very slowly.
Ingarath smiles broadly at Trinn.
[Ingarath] says: Please, by all means, Trinn.
Rook looks around for something to put an arrow through.
[Trinn] says: Eh. Might as well.
Felena smiles at Trinn.
Thargan reaches over to pat and push Trinn up to her feet.
Trinn gives Felena a quick, apologetic smile.
You clap excitedly for Trinn.
Strand brightens.
[Rook] says: Hai!
[Rook] says: Ah'm daen' that!
Rook looks miffed.
[Trinn] says: When I was training in Menethil, years ago...I found this verse scribbled in the margins of a book.
Elaran chuckles quietly at Rook.
[Trinn] says: It...still speaks to me, after all that time.
Rook sighs and dumps another bloodly pile of meat on the ground by Alerac.
Trinn takes a deep breath, eyes focused in the distance.
Alerac nodsh a thank you to Rook. ...hic!
[Trinn] says: When wind blows gently off the western sea
[Trinn] says: ((eek!))
[Trinn] says: and parts the grasses to breathe your name
[Trinn] says: into my sleeping ears,
[Trinn] says: I will praise Light once again.
Meris looks strangely at Tania
[Trinn] says: When I raise my eyes under summer sun
[Trinn] says: And marvel at my own creations:
[Trinn] says: The house behind me, love within...
[Trinn] says: I will praise Light once again.
Trinn takes another deep breath, sighing.
[Trinn] says: Until that day,
[Trinn] says: cold is this heart.
[Trinn] says: Until that day,
Arrish listens to Trinn, head tilted.
[Trinn] says: this sword and shield fall silent, unused.
Trinn glances around the circle, slowly.
[Trinn] says: I tire of passing judgment when
Meriane mumbles.
[Trinn] says: I cannot escape my own mistakes
[Trinn] says: My own idiocies.
[Trinn] says: I am nothing of a judge.
Trinn pauses to let Alerac restart the fire.
Alerac smilesh apologetically at Trinn.
[Alerac] says: Sorry.
[Trinn] says: When wind howls furiously under
[Trinn] says: a winter moon, yet your arms
[Trinn] says: form a ready circle
[Trinn] says: to lend me warmth when my spirit falls cold...
Trinn looks down quietly.
[Trinn] says: Then I will praise Light once again.
Felena looks closely at Trinn, sorrow flickering across her face with the firelight.
Trinn gives a slight nod of her head, and returns to her place.
Thargan nods at Trinn.
Neia claps excitedly.
Shaun claps excitedly for Trinn.
You clap excitedly for Trinn.
Arahshiel smiles at Trinn.
Dahla looks over at Trinn with worry, quietly applauding.
Arahshiel claps excitedly for Trinn.
Arrish applauds at Trinn. Bravo!
Elaran claps excitedly for Trinn.
Amberlyssa claps excitedly.
[Ingarath] says: Wonderful, Trinn. Thank you for sharing.
Meris smiles at Trinn.
[Alerac] says: Hmm...
Veras nods
[Veras] says: Interesting
Strand releases the breath he has been holding.
[Alianurai] says: Tis a sad one Lady...
Rook looks, grinning, at Thargan.
[Rook] says: How aboot one frae a dwarfer, eh?
Trinn clasps her arms around her legs again, looking back at the fire.
[Veras] says: Once again, I don't see it as sad
Meriane glances at Strand curiously.
[Veras] says: But.... I am an odd one
Alianurai gently smiles at Trinn
Felena puts her arms around Trinn, leaning to embrace her.
Arrish looks over at Trinn, and offers her a small smile.
Rook snorts something close to a laugh.
[Thargan] says: I ain' got non' I wan' ta shar' w'th ya lass...
Thargan quirks a thick fiery brow as he glares over at Rook.
Ingarath blinks.
[Rook] says: Ye ain't got none? Shade.
Trinn smiles at Felena, but holds up a hand.
[Rook] says: Guess that means ye've got at least one.
Trinn whispers, "I'm fine. Thank you, though."
[Alerac] says: Only when you think about it mathmatically.
[Alerac] says: If you think about it linguisticly, then it works, sorta.
[Thargan] says: Noth'n ya need ta b' 'ear'n lass.
[Ingarath] says: Rook, is it possible for you to ever sit quietly?
Arrish giggles softly.
You laugh at Rook.
Meris sits thoughtfully, tracing outlines in the dirt
Rook nods to Elaran.
[Rook] says: See, told ye et's no' do tae slay 'em quick.
Rook twists her mouth, looking at Alianurai.
[Rook] says: Sorry aboot the mess, lassie.
Alianurai smiles at Rook.
Kyltania sits there, rather well disciplined and manicured as if she had been cleaned up or tended to by someone last eve.
[Ingarath] says: Does anyone else have something to share?
You greet Kelian warmly.
Kelian waves at you.
Meris notices Kelian's arrival and winks at her
Ingarath looks around. "No one else...?"
[Rook] says: Ah cud make somethin' oop.
Alianurai chuckles at Rook.
Ingarath raises an eyebrow at Rook.
[Rook] says: But ah bet if'n ye wait lang enough somethin' less painful will become available.
Kelian looks slyly over at Meris and smiles slightly.
[Rook] says: Hai!
[Elaran] says: Don't bother, miss...I don't like pig rear in my face.
Elaran lets out a hearty chuckle.
[Rook] says: Ye mean ets ankles?
Elaran rolls her eyes at Rook.
Rook grins unabashedly.
Arrish glances sideways at Fubuki.
[Rook] says: Weel, how aboot this?
Fubuki lies down before Great Goretusk.
Rook motions to Ingarath.
Trinn glances over at Fubuki with a smile.
[Rook] says: Et's no' mah'n so et sounds guid.
Ingarath eyes Rook.
Rook folds her hands.
[Kyltania] says: I may have something to share...
[Rook] says: "The woods are lovely, dark and deep,
[Rook] says: but I have promises to keep,
Arrish smiles a bit, and then looks to Rook.
Thargan groans hearing Kyltania's voice.
[Rook] says: and miles to go before I sleep;
Felena raises her hand, making a slight gesture at Ingarath.
Mosher nods.
[Rook] says: and miles to go before I sleep."
[Rook] says: Tha's aw.
Alianurai claps excitedly for Rook.
Kyltania waits till Rook is finished.
Amberlyssa claps excitedly.
Elaran claps excitedly for Rook.
Arrish smiles at Rook.
Felena smiles at Rook.
Dahla applauds for Rook.
Ingarath eyes the young warlock. "Why don't you go next, and then we shall hear from Felena..?"
Strand claps contentedly.
[Arrish] says: Short, yet sweet.
Alianurai arches her eyebrow at the young warlock
Kyltania slowly stands, her eyes drawn to the fire before she strides to it.
Veras looks to Kyltania unsure what she is going to say
Shaun sighs at Meriane.
Mosher asks you to wait.
Kyltania unfolds a scroll from her belongings and looks down, her eyes heavy with emotion though she doesn't release any tears.
Kyltania starts to recite.
[Kyltania] says: And when I was a boy.... there was a fire inside.
Fubuki kneels before Kyltania.
[Kyltania] says: It was a fire that -nothing- could quench. It lay in a place beyond reach, beyond reason. But now the fire is dead.
Arrish listens to Kyltania, glancing briefly at Meriane.
[Kyltania] says: And when I was a boy, there was a fire inside; it burned and awful strength. The fuel was my heart, and the hearth was my soul. And into the fire I bled.
Meriane gets a little pale.
Kyltania starts to move slower as her tears spill onto the paper.
[Kyltania] says: Into the lore, fathoms deep.
[Kyltania] says: So went a darkling mind,
Elaran watches Kyltania carefully.
[Kyltania] says: Never to rest, never to sleep.
[Kyltania] says: Unkind secrets to find.
Alianurai looks carefully at Veras
[Kyltania] says: And when I was a boy, I believed in things;
[Kyltania] says: Knowledge was my key.
Veras gnaws on his lower lip listening carefully
Arrish puts a light hand on Meriane's arm.
[Kyltania] says: I waited for the Muses with their distant wings,
Felena studies Kyltania with a thoughtful, compassionate expression.
Alerac watches Kyltania cooly, feeling a tad angry.
[Kyltania] says: and their blasphemous melody.
[Kyltania] says: Down.... down the secrets delved,
[Kyltania] says: Into spaces of darkness and sin.
[Kyltania] says: Down down my mind went,
[Kyltania] says: Where few others have been.
[Kyltania] says: ..........What has happened to the fire inside? *her voice becoming softer*
[Kyltania] says: Corrupted and turned to ash.
Meriane shudders.
Elaran glares angrily at Kyltania.
[Kyltania] says: Where has he gone, the boy who died?
[Kyltania] says: A hollow shell remains.
Thargan bonks Tocky on the noggin. Doh!
Trinn smiles at Tocky.
Kyltania clings to the paper, shaking slightly as she continues.
Tocky glares angrily at Thargan.
Meriane stares, empty-eyed, into the fire.
[Kyltania] says: What have I gained from the times I lied?
[Kyltania] says: A twisted, tortured soul.
Alerac frowns again, realization dawning on him.
[Kyltania] says: And on and on my madness reigned, til I was blinded pure.
Arrish looks around then circle, brow furrowing, and then studies Kyltania.
Meris listens intently to Kyltania, her mind wandering
Kyltania lets her voice become more passionate and raises it slightly, "Fie! Fie! Turn your head, the chains rattle still.
Meriane jumps a bit at the increase in volume.
Strand chews on his lower lip.
[Kyltania] says: Fie! Fie! I must be dead, to this end growing chill.
[Trinn] says: ((pardon me.))
[Ingarath] says: ((Same here.))
[Kyltania] says: And so burns out the fire inside,
[Kyltania] says: and so burns out my life.
Meriane makes an incoherent moaning sound and rises.
Arrish looks after Meriane, frowning.
[Kyltania] says: The cable that was my existance had found,
Strand murmurs, "Sorry."
[Kyltania] says: and end my mortal strife.
[Kyltania] says: Strike, my blade, before he awakes, to put an end to you.
[Kyltania] says: STRIKE, my dirk, before it's too late, strike now.... and do it true.
Kyltania swallows a hard lump in her throat with a sniffle and folds the scroll back up.
Veras grumbles something in a far off tounge as he looks away from Kyltania and next leans back
Kyltania keeps her eyes locked upon the fire.
Arrish hesitates, then claps politely.
Neia sits quietly and thinks...
[Thargan] says: Lass, ya need ta go ta th' Cath'dral.
Ingarath nods slowly.
Trinn sits quietly.
Alerac looks around.
[Alerac] says: ...erm...good job. Uh...
Kyltania wanders quietly to go sit back down.
Meris looks down for a bit, then back at Kyltania sympathetically
Shaun slips away.
Dahla sits motionless, silent, just watching Kyltania.
[Ingarath] says: Well.
[Alerac] says: Yeah.
Ingarath blinks.
Veras turns a steely gave to Thargan, and shakes his head a bit, then looks to Ingarath
[Amberlyssa] says: That was.... thought provoking, and beautiful.
Ingarath nods.
Arrish glances back over her shoulder.
Kyltania just keeps her attention withdrawn into herself.
Kelian looks around the circle and rubs at her temples grumbling to herself.
[Thargan] says: Tha' was a bloody fars', som' on' choos's tha' path, it no choos's ya... git ov'r it.
Reynald stares Kelian down.
[Veras] says: ....
[Ingarath] says: Please, there will be time later to argue.
[Meris] says: Thargan... can you keep your thoughts to YOURSELF just once?
Felena smiles at Thargan, and bites her lip at Ingaraths' words.
Veras sucks his teeth and looks to the Dwarf
[Veras] says: He didn't ask for your forgiveness
Kelian stares Reynald down.
[Thargan] says: No I can no, lass... go bugg'r a trol.
[Veras] says: And he didn't ask for your acceptance
[Elaran] says: Warlocks don't choose their paths, remember? They simply submit to fate.
[Veras] says: Nor do *I*
Ingarath looks to the sky suddenly.
Kyltania smiles sweetly at Thragan, "I shall be sure to dance upon your anscestors graves should I find them." Then she wipes her face off.
[Elaran] says: Let no fire be corrupted, that burns in the pure of heart.
Kyltania withdraws back into herself.
Arrish furrows her brow, watching.
Veras grubmles and looks back to the fire
[Alianurai] says: Spoken as a true warlock Lass...
[Veras] says: Next story please
Arahshiel finds herself uncomfortable. She quietly excuses herself.
Meris smiles sweetly at Tania
[Ingarath] says: Indeed.
[Alerac] says: Eh? She aint a warlock. Next story!
Kelian looks from Kyltania to Thargan and snickers softly.
Ingarath looks around.
[Alerac] says: Erm...I once knew a gnome from..erm..Gnometucket!
Tocky stretches his legs.
[Dahla] says: NO!
Thargan scoffs lightly as he turns his golden eyes to Klytania,"M'anc'stors woul' tear ya limb from lim', no need ta worri' bout tha' lass."
Ingarath throws rocks at Alerac.
Elaran snickers at Alerac.
Veras grinds his teeth
[Veras] says: Next.... story
Arrish glances over at Thargan and Kyltania, and then away, politely.
Kyltania just keeps disregarding the dwarf.
[Ingarath] says: Truly, before Veras erupts into flames.
Phaelyn muses to herself, leaning back and propping herself up on her hands.
Ingarath smiles softly.
[Ingarath] says: Felena...you had something to share, correct?
[Meris] says: I hope that wasn't the ... last thing, really. Wasn't much of a story...
Elaran smiles.
[Felena] says: Another poem, I'm afraid. This one I wrote while a teenager, in an orphanage in Andorhal.
Elaran grins wickedly.
Ingarath nods.
[Ingarath] says: Please, share with us.
Reynald listens with interest
[Elaran] says: If it's depressing, I reserve the right to turn you into a sheep.
Kyltania smiles softly up at Felena.
Arrish settles again, shifting her weight to listen to Felena.
[Elaran] says: I'll ask the Light's forgiveness later.
Kelian shakes her head and murmurs about teenage drama.
Elaran smiles at Felena.
[Felena] says: ... perhaps thou shouldst simply turn me into a sheep now, then.
Ingarath grins at Kelian.
[Elaran] says: Bugger. Go on...
[Ingarath] says: Felena, that would be a waste of a perfectly lovely paladin.
Felena smiles, then gets out a very dusty old scroll from her satchel.
You smile at Felena.
Felena pauses as she looks at it, remembering the words from so long ago.
[Felena] says: Cold
[Felena] says: A world of white
[Felena] says: The sky falling to blanket frozen earth
[Felena] says: Snow below me, snow above, snow surrounding.
[Felena] says: Everything so pure, so cold.
[Felena] says: My heart a perfect replica, and yet
[Felena] says: No outward frost can match
[Felena] says: The loneliness I feel.
[Felena] says: Waiting for you.
Felena pauses a moment, to look out through the clouded sky, searching for the moon but unable to find it.
[Felena] says: Lost
[Felena] says: A sky of black
[Felena] says: Shadow consumes all men.
[Felena] says: Looking up I only find
Trinn sits quietly, listening.
[Felena] says: One point of light for all the world.
[Felena] says: Near in spirit, far in being.
[Felena] says: My long journey now begins.
[Felena] says: Will this night ever end?
[Felena] says: Searching for you.
[Felena] says: Empty
[Felena] says: A rain of sapphire
Arrish looks up to Strand, quietly.
[Felena] says: The sky is free to shower all.
[Felena] says: I play among the sleet, and ask
[Sirithil] says: Mind if I join you?
[Felena] says: Are we the only ones who know?
[Felena] says: The simple things are all that count.
Ingarath nods to Sirithil. "Please."
[Felena] says: I feel the gentle drops, your touch.
Meris nods at Sirithil, motioning her to be silent
[Felena] says: The great dance soon must flow.
[Felena] says: Longing for you.
Felena pauses, to whisper the last word, still searching for the moon.
[Felena] says: Forever.
Reynald bows before Felena.
Felena smiles, and closes her eyes for a moment, before stepping back and away.
Reynald claps excitedly for Felena.
Amberlyssa claps softly
Alianurai softly claps
Veras nods
Meris arches an eyebrow at Felena
Kyltania claps excitedly.
You clap excitedly for Felena.
Tocky claps excitedly.
Arrish is hushed for a moment, then claps.
Sirithil applauds at Felena. Bravo!
Joaen smiles at Elaran.
Elaran claps excitedly for Felena.
Neia claps excitedly.
Jaema claps excitedly for Felena.
Strand claps quietly, almost meticulously.
Trinn smiles warmly at Felena, clapping.
Fubuki nods at Felena.
[Arrish] says: Please do not turn her into a sheep. That was lovely.
[Ingarath] says: Thank you very much, Felena. That was wonderful.
[Tocky] says: Not only did it have black, but white and blue as well!
Arrish looks back to Strand again, worried.
Dahla smiles at Felena.
Alerac grins wickedly at Felena.
Elaran sighs at Felena.
[Alerac] says: Good job man.
[Elaran] says: I can't bring myself to do it. As depressing as it was, it was pretty.
Felena smiles gently, her face gripped with a half-forgotten emotion.
Ingarath looks around.
[Amberlyssa] says: Thank you all for a wonderful evening, but I must depart. It was nice meeting you all.
[Ingarath] says: Do we have another volunteer to share with us?
You wave at Amberlyssa.
Alianurai gets up and wipes the grass from her skirts
[Alerac] says: take care, ma'am.
[Reynald] says: Fare well!
Amberlyssa waves goodbye to everyone. Farewell!
Trinn smiles at Felena, giving her a sideways hug.
Elaran waves goodbye to Amberlyssa. Farewell!
[Alianurai] says: Thank ye all for sharing thy hearts...I also must go.
Felena leans into it.
Tocky waves goodbye to Alianurai. Farewell!
Dahla looks over at Ingarath with a weak smile. "I've always another story, Ing, if the mood needs a little... warming."
[Ingarath] says: Please.
Aylim grins wickedly at Trinn.
[Ingarath] says: I fear we shall be consumed by angst momentarily.
Trinn nods at Felena's whispered words.
Meris looks over her shoulder to Kelian, whispering
Ingarath smiles.
Dahla shrugs and grins. "Hope and Flowers is always a cure for such things..."
[Alerac] says: I prefer booze.
[Dahla] says: And, in fact, this is a tale about flowers.
[Tocky] says: Aye... me too.
Ingarath rolls his eyes at Alerac.
Trinn looks over and smiles at Aylim.
Dahla just makes a face at Alerac.
Jaema smiles at Dahla.
[Thargan] says: Hush, gnom'... no nonsens' out o' ya.
[Dahla] says: Now, not too long ago, a group of friars banded together and decided to make a flower shop out in Darkshire.
Elaran blinks at Dahla.
Arrish leaves off murmuring with Strand and smiles faintly, listening to Dahla.
[Dahla] says: You folks know Darkshire? Dismal, gloomy... it needed the brightness, the colour, the light.
Felena smiles at Trinn.
Jaema nods
[Elaran] says: Aye!
Sirithil nods a bit.
Trinn lets her arm drop, smiling, and moves back toward the fire.
Reynald nods, remembering.
Strand listens with attentive curiosity.
[Dahla] says: Well, business was positively booming, and it began to give new hope to the people out there. Everyone loved the flowers provided by the friars.
Meris frowns a bit; it's obvious she *likes* Darkshire the way it is
Felena leans back against the log.
[Dahla] says: Unfortunately... the Duskwood isn't the most forgiving place, and dark magics creep throughout it.
[Dahla] says: So one day, as a woman and her child were perusing the plants... one of them suddenly grabbed her child.
[Dahla] says: And ate it.
Arrish blinks.
Fubuki growls menacingly at Dahla.
Elaran listens intently to Dahla.
[Sirithil] says: Oh my.
[Tocky] says: Ewww...
[Dahla] says: Now, obviously, the woman was upset. Horribly upset! She told the friars what had happened, but they couldn't believe it. Not a flower! Not their flower!
Kelian snickers.
Ingarath coughs.
Jaema looks startled.
[Elaran] says: Er.
Reynald strokes his beard.
[Dahla] says: Well, the woman rallied all the townsfolk together, and everyone -- except for a man named Hugh -- gathered outside, with torches and pitchforks, demanding the friars leave.
Strand gulps, theatrically.
[Dahla] says: "No," they said. And they stayed.
[Dahla] says: Well, there wasn't much the people could do. So, slowly, they went back to their lives.
[Dahla] says: A few days later, another woman dared take her child into the flower shop.
Arrish shakes her head.
Jaema thinks .....noooooo
[Dahla] says: She held her infant tightly in her hands -- but it was no use! A huge ficus grabbed it from her.
[Dahla] says: And ate it.
Trinn blinks.
Reynald awaits the inevitable.
[Tocky] says: Ho boy... that's bad for business.
Meris excuses herself to Kelian and Sirithil
Ingarath whispers, "But a ficus is normally such a tranquil plant..."
Ingarath smiles.
Kelian raises a hand to her mouth and hides a smile.
Strand nods emphatically to Ingarath.
[Elaran] says: Eh, it's Darkshire...might make for some sort of traveler's attraction.
Dahla grins at Ingarath and nods with a wink.
[Dahla] says: Well, naturally, the townspeople were outraged! And they all gathered together -- all but Hugh -- and tried to drive them off.
[Dahla] says: But no, the friars stayed.
Alerac glances over to Meris and raises an eyebrow.
Kelian murmurs something about Hugh.
Fubuki sighs at Great Goretusk.
Elaran listens intently to Dahla.
Arrish smiles faintly.
[Dahla] says: Well. It was a few weeks until a woman finally had the courage to bring her child back into the flower shop.
Meris gives Alerac a weary smile
Sirithil awaits the inevitable.
Arrish sighs theatrically.
[Dahla] says: She held her close, but...
[Dahla] says: A pansy snatched up her child.
[Dahla] says: And ate it.
[Sirithil] says: Not a pansy!
[Veras] says: Dang
Strand 's eyebrows arch in horror.
Jaema frowns.
[Arrish] says: It must have been a wild pansy.
[Tocky] says: A pansy?!?!... wow
A sly smirk spreads across Kyltania's face.
[Dahla] says: Well, naturally, the entire town got together again, outraged. They demanded the friars leave! But no, not the friars... wasn't their fault. "We're staying", they said.
[Dahla] says: About that time, Hugh showed up.
[Dahla] says: "Get lost!" said Hugh.
[Dahla] says: "Oh, okay," said the friars, and they left.
You laugh at Dahla.
Trinn starts grinning.
[Dahla] says: Does anyone know the moral of the story?
Reynald prepares to wince.
Elaran stares at Dahla.
Arrish awaits the inevitable.
[Sirithil] says: I'm afraid not.
[Tocky] says: errrr... nope.
Ingarath mumbles, "Always have a Hugh around."
Dahla clears her throat innocently. "Only Hugh can prevent florist friars."
[Neia] says: ....Don't plant flowers?
Trinn smacks her forehead.
[Ingarath] says: .........
Alerac begins to groan.
Strand looks entirely horrified.
[Arrish] says: Nng!
[Elaran] says: Arrrrrgh.
Felena lets out a hearty chuckle.
Tocky laughs.
Jaema groans.
[Veras] says: Ouch
Ingarath slaps his head.
Reynald lies down before Felena.
Sirithil groans, and chuckles.
Thargan laughs at Dahla.
Trinn laughs.
Meris chuckles at Dahla
Reynald falls to the grass, stunned.
Arrish giggles at Dahla.
[Elaran] says: You aught to be shot for making a joke that bad!
Elaran giggles at Dahla.
[Veras] says: I think a part of me died
Dahla takes a deep bow, grinning.
[Ingarath] says: Oh. My. Elune.
[Alerac] says: Ow....
Kelian laughs.
[Alerac] says: Fire!
[Strand] says: I didn't know it was that sort of gathering.
[Arrish] says: Someone let the shaggy dog out again.
Strand looks sober.
Arrish quiets, then, and looks back to Strand.
Meris looks up curiously at Felena
Aylim leans over and whispers to Trinn.
Strand lets slip a grin.
Ingarath shakes his head and smiles at Dahla.
Alerac has apparently lost his seat and moves up onto the log.
Arrish murmurs to him.
[Ingarath] says: Anyone else wish to share something?
[Reynald] says: Who could top that I wonder.
Meris grumbles a bit and mutters something back to Felena.
Reynald mumbles.
Trinn nods at Aylim's words, her grin fading.
Felena smiles.
[Ingarath] says: Perhaps we should call it an evening, then.
Meris looks somewhat incredulously at Felena, as if she just asked her to turn back time *and* plug the Maelstrom
Fubuki lets out a tentative purr.
[Ingarath] says: Of course, you're all welcome to remain by the fire.
Felena smiles amiably and guilelessly at her.
[Alerac] says: My fire!
Ingarath grins.
[Alerac] says: And..thargans. one fo me.
Strand says innocently, "As long as it stays lit?"
You smile at Strand.
Fubuki raises his hand..."excuse me"
Dahla snickers at Strand.
[Alerac] says: That's it!
Ingarath eyes Fubuki. "Yes?"
Arrish covers a smile with her hand.
Alerac points at Strand.
[Veras] says: Hmmph
[Alerac] says: You are banished from the fire!
[Fubuki] says: There is a Meris around?
Strand gasps.
Meris eyes Poynard from across the way and watches him carefully
Veras looks to Fubuki
[Veras] says: Why?
Arrish puts on a sad expression, and tries it out on Alerac.
[Arrish] says: You would be so cruel?
[Fubuki] says: And I recognize Felan...
[Alerac] says: He mocked me fire!
Strand says sincerely, "Sir, who I have troubled I believe twice now in my life, it is only this: that we cherish the beauty of the fire more for its brief lifespan."
[Fubuki] says: Well...I have a gnome servant who made me come here today.
[Arrish] says: And a very lovely fire it is.
Strand adds, aside to Arrish, "I read that one somewhere."
[Veras] says: A gnome servant who forces you to do things...
Arrish glances sidelong at Strand.
[Veras] says: Odd
[Arrish] says: I see.
[Elaran] says: "Servant."
[Strand] says: Not about a fire, actually, exactly.
[Fubuki] says: Said he wants me to read poems to Meris and Felena or else
[Alerac] says: Bloody..it's the creepy one that wanted your autograph, eh Meris?
[Meris] says: Eh Alerac?
[Fubuki] says: he'd be killed.
[Veras] says: Yeah, they are here
Ingarath looks at the tall elf.
[Alerac] says: Remember? Fishin on the bridge?
Reynald leans over and kisses Jaema's cheek.
[Veras] says: Read the poem
[Meris] says: The poems are for everyone...
Arrish blinks.
[Arrish] says: Poetry or death. Some people take it very seriously.
[Fubuki] says: I think he lies.....these servants.
[Felena] says: Wait...
Jaema smiles at Reynald.
[Felena] says: ...dost thou mean... a servant of... Hitogiri?
Kelian groans at the thought of listening to love poems.
Strand looks back over to Felena, light-hearted expresssion fading.
Fubuki raises his eyebrow
Felena looks at Fubuki and smiles.
[Fubuki] says: Oh! So someone does want his life!
Meris looks rather perplexed by the scenario
Felena lets out a hearty chuckle.
Ingarath sighs softly.
[Felena] says: Now... thou sayest he will be slain if these poems are not read?
Tocky stretches his legs.
[Meris] says: A gnome slaying?
[Fubuki] says: Well, anyways....I have no idea what he does while I sleep in the woods....write things I guess.
[Arrish] says: You could try calling it and see if it's a bluff.
Fubuki shrugs. Who knows?
[Meris] says: What's the worst that can happen?
[Dahla] says: Would it really trouble us so to hear some poetry?
[Felena] says: Well... then it is my honor to meet thee, sir. For through him, thou hast presented me with good advice.
[Kelian] says: Its jus' a gnome.
Elaran glares angrily at Kelian.
[Felena] says: Yes, please go ahead and read thy poetry.
[Mareena] says: Oh?
[Alerac] says: Right..but remember, we are now in Flying tackle mode. that is, you go to long...you're hit with a flying tackle.
Rook looks woefully at Elaran.
[Elaran] says: Keep your tongue behind your teeth, rogue.
Fubuki scratches his head and stare at Felena with puzzlement.
[Rook] says: Been busy?
[Mareena] says: JUST a gnome?
Felena rolls her eyes at Alerac.
Kelian smiles smirkingly over at Mareena and Elaran.
[Arrish] says: Are you saying that the poem can't outlast the fire?
Sirithil waves Rook over to sit with her.
Strand elbows Arrish cheerfully.
[Elaran] says: Else I'll serve you medium-well.
[Arrish] says: Mf.
Alerac throws a rock at Ingarath.
Meris glances back over in the direction of Veras and Kyltania
Fubuki looks about at the confusion at a loss.
Kyltania looks over at Meris.
Meris snorts at Felena's question, laughing
Strand looks up at Fubuki.
Veras seems rather disintrested with things at the molment
Ingarath blinks. "Are you going to speak, or not...?"
Kelian snickers at Elaran's comment and looks over her shoulder at him. "Good luck catchin' this one. And don't call me rogue I ain't a theif."
[Fubuki] says: Alright here we go...
Felena smirks slyly at Meris.
[Arrish] says: I believe that was a yes.
[Fubuki] says: I am rather fond of the gnome.
[Elaran] says: So be it. Keep your tongue behind your teeth, human.
Mareena leans over Kelian, whispering.
Felena nods at Fubuki, and gestures for him to go on.
[Fubuki] says: It's a little poem about war and peace.
Niane kneels before Elaran.
Fubuki mumbles soemthing about silly gnomes.
Niane kneels before Kyltania.
[Fubuki] says: The war
Sirithil waves at Rook.
[Fubuki] says: A salamander
Kelian shakes her head at Elaran and sighs with a slight smile on her lips, not being upset in the slightest.
Niane sighs at Rook.
Meris leans back into the log, looking away from the crowd
Kyltania excuses herself.
[Niane] says: Again with the killing?
[Fubuki] says: Burning claws rend
Niane says a prayer for Great Goretusk.
[Fubuki] says: Earth asunder
Ingarath whispers, "Goretusks seem to really offend Rook."
[Fubuki] says: The peace
[Fubuki] says: The Vardantis
[Rook] says: Oh! Hai, Niane.
Mareena wanders off, seemingly bored alread.y
Kelian whispers to Elaran.
Arrish listens to Fubuki.
[Fubuki] says: charred glade bloom
[Fubuki] says: A silent genesis.
Arrish has to look way up; he's awfully tall.
Alerac nods at himself, finally scoring a hit.
Rook kneels down.
Fubuki looks aboutr sheepishly...well and the moral of the poem is?
Rook tosses more meat to Alerac.
[Tocky] says: huh?
Alerac sighs, his nice log taken ov.
Felena smiles gently at Fubuki, thoughtfully.
Trinn looks at the....fires...thoughtfuly.
[Fubuki] says: Something I realized when I lived in Feralas
[Fubuki] says: Peace is always there, but war is what people see.
Arrish smiles to Fubuki, a little wistfully.
Felena smiles, slowly and nods.
Ingarath nods.
Sirithil ponders this thoughtfully.
Strand runs his fingers through his hair.
[Felena] says: Moreso... sometimes death and war begets life. Gives it room to grow.
Fubuki looks about uncomfortably.
[Sirithil] says: Like the forest regrowing after a fire.
[Fubuki] says: Perhaps Felena
Elaran nods at Kelian.
Felena nods at Sirithil.
[Fubuki] says: But anyways, now my gnome is safe...
Elaran sighs at Kelian.
Elaran smiles at Kelian.
Arrish puts her hands together, and says to Fubuki, "Two sides, yes."
[Veras] says: Hmmph, fair enough
Felena smiles at Fubuki.
Fubuki seems to shrink a bit "I think I've had my quota for people today."
Veras waves at Fubuki.
Fubuki bows down graciously.
Arrish smiles apologetically.
[Strand] says: Thank you for coming, sir, and sharing.
Ingarath nods at Fubuki.
Meris nods to Fubuki absent mindedly
Niane greets Felena warmly.
[Aylim] says: I've been goaded into singing, if I may?
Ingarath nods.
Dahla looks over at Aylim with a smile.
[Veras] says: Eh?
[Veras] says: Singing?
Thargan chuckles as he glances up at Aylim
Trinn doesn't seem to recall goading anyone, but eh.
[Alerac] says: Ok, damnit, if he can sign, why can't I?
[Thargan] says: Ifn' it b' lik' yer fight'n lad, keep it ta yerself.
[Dahla] says: Because you can't?
Aylim bows gracefully, clears his throat, and begins singing in a deep and flowing voice.
[Tocky] says: ouch
Ingarath murmurs, "Can't fish, can't sing...can't make fires..."
[Alerac] says: Never got the bloody opportunity...
[Aylim] says: Summer comes, winter goes..
Niane sighs at Rook.
Niane says a prayer for Rabbit.
[Aylim] says: What this year will bring? No one knows..
[Niane] says: Now that was just evil Rook
[Aylim] says: Rain will fall, stars will shine..
Aylim whips a rose out of his sleeve and tosses it in front of the women by the log with a grin.
[Aylim] says: Perhaps a Lady shall even be mine..
Reynald laughs and shakes his head.
[Aylim] says: Laughter shall be had, and battles fought..
Alerac grumbles.
Meris looks impatiently at Aylim
[Aylim] says: But in the end, all for naught..
[Aylim] says: In this summer heat all I can ask..
[Aylim] says: Is to live one more year..
[Aylim] says: ..with a full mead flask!
Tocky claps excitedly for Aylim.
You clap excitedly for Aylim.
Neia claps excitedly for Aylim.
Strand laughs at Aylim.
Elaran applauds at Aylim. Bravo!
Felena applauds at Aylim. Bravo!
Dahla applauds at Aylim. Bravo!
Aylim smirks and bows, enjoying the attention.
[Niane] says: Not again!
Trinn claps excitedly for Aylim.
Aylim bows down graciously.
Niane says a prayer for Great Goretusk.
Thargan claps excitedly for Aylim.
Reynald smiles at Aylim.
[Niane] says: Do you even stop?
[Rook] says: Aye, fer breath.
[Thargan] says: Who said ya coul' sit thar, lad?
Trinn grins at Aylim.
Niane sighs at Rook.
Ingarath chuckles at Thargan.
Trinn looks across Aylim toward Thargan, eyebrow raised.
Kelian looks over at the dwarf and considers making more trouble before shutting her mouth.
[Alerac] says: Alright. Anythin else?
Thargan folds his marld arms across his chest as he turns his golden gaze to Aylim, waiting.
[Thargan] says: (mailed even.)
Aylim twirls a tiny dagger skillfully, pretending to ignore the comment, chuckling slightly.
Niane lets out a long, drawn-out sigh.
Elaran cheers at Alerac!
[Niane] says: Three fires!?!?!
Trinn feels suddenly rather warm.
[Alerac] says: Erm..yeah?
Ingarath coughs.
[Tocky] says: Hey... we like being toasty.
[Sirithil] says: Toasty is good.
[Kelian] says: Eh...it ain't even a cold night
[Veras] says: ....
[Veras] says: No comment
[Alerac] says: Well then....Ingarath?
[Alerac] says: Gonna say somethin?
Dahla glances up, looking for gryphons.
Ingarath raises an eyebrow.
Trinn moves back a bit from the inferno.
[Elaran] says: Reminds me of my days as a barmaid in Ironforge....always hot there.
[Tocky] says: ho yeah.
Veras grunts and looks behind him
Tocky lets out a hearty chuckle.
[Veras] says: You were a waitress?
[Ingarath] says: What shall I say, Alerac?
Kelian glances back at Elaran and mentions something about gnomish barmaids.
Alerac glances back at Tocky.
[Alerac] says: remebering your days as a barmaid too?
Arrish stretches, amused.
[Elaran] says: Aye, I was.
Strand relaxes back on his hands, stretching. He's a touch awkward.
[Alerac] says: Anyway...you are supposed to say "Oy, what's next?"
Dahla is now the group leader.
[Alerac] says: Then no one does anything and you tell us to leave and we stay here for three more hours.
[Veras] says: Hmmmph, never would have guessed
Ingarath shakes his head. "No, we're done with that portion of the evening. Remember?"
Veras turns backt o face infront of him
[Elaran] says: Complete with getting my rear pinched several times a night by drunk and horny dwarves.
[Kelian] says: There ain't nothin' wrong with servin' a few beers. Specially if'n the men mind their hands.
[Alerac] says: Oh. Is this get pissed drunk portion then?
[Ingarath] says: When is that not your portion, Al?
Trinn is now the group leader.
You laugh at Alerac.
[Alerac] says: .Wednesday Mornings at Five O'Clock ot Five O'Five.
Alerac nods at you.
[Arrish] says: There are certainly a great many poets and storytellers here.
Ingarath nods.
[Rook] says: Actually, who's gang next?
[Ingarath] says: We are regularly honored by the presence of many talented speakers.
Rook watches the rabbit go stiff.
[Alerac] says: Erm..nice aim, Rook...
Trinn watches the arrow zip by, giving Rook an odd look.
[Rook] says: Thankee.
[Trinn] says: A bit close to my head, there.
[Arrish] says: This was a good diversion.
[Niane] says: Another one!?!
[Strand] says: This happens every week?
[Rook] says: Ye were ne'er i' any danger.
[Kelian] says: Anyone goin' to cook that fer us?
[Alerac] says: Every week.
Delesta added to friends.
[Alerac] says: Every single damn one.
Alerac nods.
Niane says a prayer for Rabbit.
[Arrish] says: Hmm, are you coming back next week, brother mine? There's all the Mellor stories.
Strand looks pleased. "There are a lot of Mellor stories."
Rook looks at Ingarath.
[Niane] says: Rook that is just evil
[Neia] says: and seems popular.
[Arrish] says: And, apparently, all the pork we could eat!
[Rook] says: Who's gang next?
Kelian shrugs and skins the rabbit.
[Alerac] says: don't think anyone is.
Rook chuckles at Kelian.
Ingarath shakes his head and sighs.
[Alerac] says: Night's over, it seems.
[Rook] says: Aw, shade.
Arrish holds out her hands toward the fire.
[Strand] says: I had noticed the abundance of hog. It's like a holiday party.
[Ingarath] says: Perhaps I need signal flares....or some kind of flag.
[Alerac] says: Eh?
You laugh.
Trinn blinks at Strand.
[Veras] says: So we can race to the griffons Ingarath?
[Niane] says: Al!
[Alerac] says: How's about that?
[Arrish] says: Hmm, hot.
[Strand] says: Well, we always had pork, in the north.
[Arrish] says: Which is the one that makes the ground glow red, Strand?
[Strand] says: Holidays. Um.
[Ingarath] says: Eh, another magick user drunk on power. What's so new about that?
[Strand] says: Oh, that one stings.
[Kelian] says: Fireworks?
[Elaran] says: Hey, I'm perfectly sober Ingarath!
You grin wickedly at Elaran.
Arrish flinches a bit. "We're trusting their targeting awfully well."
[Alerac] says: I'm not drunk yet.
Elaran giggles at you.
Strand clears his throat, and shifts where he sits.
[Alerac] says: An it aint power. Honeslty, that spell sucks for naything but light shows.
[Ingarath] says: Well, everyone, thank you for coming, as always.
Reynald stands and bows to all present, smiling.
[Elaran] says: Hah!
[Alerac] says: Take care, man.
[Elaran] says: Ok, no one move...
Reynald bows down graciously.
[Neia] says: light shows I can do. Just not big ones...
Ingarath doesn't move.
[Veras] says: ow
Kelian watches random people get brained by ice and burned by fire.
[Trinn] says: Fine, Alerac. Put out your own fires, then.
[Veras] says: ,,,,,,
[Tocky] says: whee!
[Veras] says: Let me put it this way
[Niane] says: Poor Veras
Arrish raises her eyebrows, watching the show.
[Ingarath] says: Great, great. I was thinking I didn't have enough hail and brimstone in my life.
Edum bows before Kelian.
[Veras] says: Next time I am hit.... green fire rains
[Arrish] says: Targetting.
Strand pulls his hood up, ineffectively.
[Strand] says: Really, luck, mostly...
Niane says a prayer for Great Goretusk.
[Edum] says: Greetings, Milady Kelian.
Arrish gives Strand an alarmed look.
Ingarath grins at Trinn.
Dahla does her best to look incredible subtle as she inches away from Veras.
Strand perches on the stump.
Rook slices out the boar's snout and intestines.
[Arrish] says: Well, then.
Kelian glances over at Edum and shakes her head. "'ello me dandy, 'member what we said about bowing?"
Dahla -- incredibly, too.
[Veras] says: waaaaaiting
[Veras] says: Waaaaaaaaaaaiting
[Elaran] says: For?
[Trinn] says: Erm. Ingarath...sit next to me when you're not being bombarded.
[Alerac] says: Shaddup.
Trinn grins at him.
Arrish lets out a long, drawn-out sigh.
Felena smiles at Meris.
Ingarath shrugs. "It's worth it."
[Alerac] says: Sorry Trinn. Blame Ingarath.
Veras grunts
Meris looks sadly around the circle a few times before wandering off
Strand moves behind the stump.
Edum shakes his head with a soft sigh, his emerald eyes studying Kelina for a moment.
[Elaran] says: You can't blame Ingarath...
Trinn gives Alerac a withering glare, pushing icicles from her hair.
Felena waves at Meris.
Veras stands, stretching
Kelian dodges a flaming rock. "'EY Do ya mind? Watch where you aim those!"
You wave at Meris.
Felena says a prayer for Meris.
[Alerac] says: Eh? Meris?
[Neia] says: ... One day I hope my fireworks will look that good...
Strand peeks out from behind.
Trinn watches Meris go.
Ingarath whispers something to Trinn.
[Veras] says: Close
Veras laughs.
Niane giggles.
[Niane] says: He hit you...I think...
Ingarath sighs.
[Elaran] says: Hmm..just not as dramatic.
[Arrish] says: Well, good even to all of you, and thank you.
[Kelian] says: Well Edum ya missed the storytellin'.
Veras looks to Felena and Dahla
[Strand] says: Aye, thank you very much.
[Veras] says: Hmmm
Ingarath looks up, noticing Edum, and waves.
Arrish waves goodbye to everyone. Farewell!
Veras turns back to the fire
Dahla looks up at Veras with a grin. "Hmmm?"
[Edum] says: I know, there is always next time though, Milady Kelian.
Trinn waves back to Arrish and Strand, smiling.
Felena reaches out a hand to take Dahla's.
Edum bows before you.
[Edum] says: Greetings, Friend Ingarath.
Veras simply grunts in reply
Strand makes a general bow, and sends Trinn a quick grin, and whistles as he walks.
[Arrish] says: Strand, are you staying?
Kelian sighs and shakes her head at Edum. "Why must you call me milady?"
[Tocky] says: Well I must be going.
[Niane] says: Again!
Arrish smiles at Strand.
[Strand] says: No, no.
You wave at Tocky.
Niane says a prayer for Great Goretusk.
Tocky excuses himself.
[Alerac] says: Alright...
Arrish bows before Trinn.
Rook watches apathetically.
Arrish bows before Felena.
[Alerac] says: Looks like it's all done.
Tocky waves goodbye to everyone. Farewell!
[Elaran] says: Hmm...time to go get drunk!
Trinn waves at Tocky.
[Ingarath] says: The ground? Yes. It's well done.
Felena turns her head to smile at Edum.
[Elaran] says: Farewell, everyone!
[Trinn] says: Quite.

[Edum] says: Greetings, Milady Felena and Milady Dahla.
[Veras] says: You'll get it a chance next time Rook
[Veras] says: I'm sure of it
Rook shrugs.
[Rook] says: Here's hopin' et.
Trinn looks over her shoulder to wave at Sullivan.
[Veras] says: Oh and Felena
[Felena] says: Good evening, Sir Edum... and I, for one, appreciate well thy good grace, sir.
[Sullivan] says: Evening all.
Sullivan tips his hat and grins.
[Trinn] says: Hello, Sullivan.
You wave at Sullivan.
Trinn smiles at Sullivan.
[Veras] says: Your history books should be in the mail
[Edum] says: I know you do, Milady Felena, it honours me.
Kelian looks over at Felena and grimaces.
Felena pauses for a moment, eventually looking over at Veras.
Felena shrugs at Veras. Who knows?
Veras waves.
[Edum] says: Well, I only stopped by for a moment, I must be off...
[Veras] says: I'll see you all next week
[Veras] says: Or before that
